The Annual Sports Day of Amara Jyothi English Primary School was celebrated with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation on 05th November 2025 at the school campus. The event witnessed the active involvement of students, parents, teachers and staff, making it a memorable day dedicated to sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork.
The programme commenced with an impressive march-past by students from all houses, followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the school flag. The Principal formally declared the Sports Meet open and highlighted the importance of physical fitness and its role in shaping disciplined and confident individuals.
Sporting Events and Student Participation
A wide variety of track and field events were conducted to ensure participation from all age groups. The programme was carefully structured to balance competitiveness with enjoyment and learning.
The events included:
- Track events such as sprints and relay races
- Field events including long jump, high jump and throwing activities
- Fun races for junior students promoting participation and coordination
- House-wise team events encouraging unity and cooperation
Students displayed commendable dedication, determination and sportsmanlike conduct throughout the day. Every event was conducted systematically under the supervision of teachers and the physical education department.
