“Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge.”

The Investiture Ceremony at Amara Jyothi English School for the academic year 2025-26 was a grand and inspiring event, marking the formal induction of our newly elected student council. The ceremony was a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible leaders who embody the values of discipline, integrity, and excellence.

A Momentous Occasion

The event commenced with a solemn prayer and lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness with knowledge and wisdom. The school choir set the tone with a melodious rendition of the school song, followed by a warm welcome address by the Principal, who emphasized the importance of leadership with humility and service.

Pinning the Badges: A Symbol of Responsibility

The highlight of the ceremony was the pinning of badges by the Principal. The newly appointed leaders stood with pride as they were entrusted with their roles:

  • School Head Boy & Head Girl
  • Sports Captain (Boys & Girls)
  • House Captains (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow)
  • Cultural Secretary & Discipline Incharge
  • Class Representatives

Each leader took a solemn oath, pledging to uphold the school’s values, serve their peers, and contribute positively to the institution’s growth.

Looking Ahead

The Investiture Ceremony was not just about assigning titles but about instilling a sense of duty and responsibility in our young leaders. We are confident that the newly elected council will uphold the Amara Jyothi spirit and steer the school toward greater heights.

Congratulations to our Student Council 2025-26!

“Great leaders don’t set out to be leaders; they set out to make a difference.”
